OLUSEGUN ADEYEMI [ Managing Partner]
Olusegun is the Managing Partner in the firm. He attended Lagos State University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree in 1990. He was called to the Nigerian bar in 1991. Following a short stint at the chambers of Professor A.B Kasumu (SAN), Segun proceeded to the United Kingdom, where he spent the next 15 years working as an IT consultant and project manager with various blue-chip companies, including IBM, Marsh UK (Insurance), and Ernst & Young.
Adept with I.T. experience in planning, developing, and implementing cutting-edge Information Security and Risk Management solutions, Segun spent over seven years with Ernst & Young (UK) as the Project Coordinator deploying Audit Technology solutions across the firm’s Europe, Middle East, and Africa areas.
In 2007, Segun obtained his Master of Laws (LLM) degree from the Institute of Commercial and Communications Law, Queen Mary College London.
Segun returned to Nigeria in 2007, joining the United Bank for Africa (UBA) as Head of Information Protection and Awareness in the Technology Risk Management department. While at UBA, he was responsible for multiple FLC (Full Life Cycle) implementations of Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud Detection Solutions from the Requirements Analysis Go-Live and Post-Implementation support phases of the project, amongst his other successes at the Bank.
He joined the prestigious law firm of Kanyi Karibi-Whyte & Hastrup in April 2012 as a foundation partner, where he was responsible for the Technology law aspect of the business.
Segun founded Hastrup Solicitors in October 2020 as a fully fledged Technology services legal and advisory business.
ADEBISI KANYINSOLA ADEYEMI [ASSOCIATE PARTNER]
Adebisi is an Associate in the firm’s Regulatory, Compliance, and Company Secretarial practice. She regularly advises various corporate institutions on issues related to corporate compliance with Data Protection Regulations.
Adebisi has good experience in rendering advisory services on Compliance, immigration requirements and formalities and he assists in procuring business permits, expatriate quotas and temporary work permits. she is a valuable asset to the firm.
She is a member of Nigeria Bar Association.
